Rockwater Hydraulic Hammers For Sale From ASC

Attachment Service Centers is proud to sell and service a full line of hydraulic breakers from Rockwater Construction Equipment! We’ve been working with this west-coast company for years now, and their close proximity has enabled shorter turnaround times for sales of new equipment, and parts are readily available when the time comes for repairs and maintenance. 

Rockwater produces their CB series of hammers in a full range of sizes for mini-skid steers to 60 ton excavators. All of their hydraulic breakers are designed from the ground up to focus on delivering the most power with the least amount of downtime and costs for repairs.

The CB series of hydraulic hammers covers a wide range of impact energy levels – from 150 ft-lb up to 12,000 ft-lb. Breakers in this collection will fit many different sizes of skid steers, backhoes, and excavators, from 1,700 to 122,000 lbs.

“Compact” hammers would be classified as hammers designed for carriers that weigh from 1,700 to 20,000 pounds, with tool diameters ranging from 1.6 inches to 3 inches. These would include the CB100, CB200, CB300, CB350, CB400, and the CB430, with operating weights from 158 to 830 pounds. Examples of suitably sized carriers for these compact breakers would be mini-skid steers and small mini-excavators such as the Toro 320D or Takeuchi TB020. The “small” breakers would be used on Kubota U35 mini-excavator or Bobcat T300 skid steer up to Hitachi Zaxis 50U and even John Deere 310 backhoes.

“Medium” sized hydraulic breakers from Rockwater would be classified as suitable for carriers from 15,000 to 67,000 pounds, with tool diameters ranging from 3.3 inches to 5.9 inches and operating weights of 1,100 to 4,566 pounds. The hydraulic hammers in this category would be the CB450, CB500, CB600S, CB700S, CB800S, and the CB1000S, and these breakers would work with carriers such as a skid steer like the Mustang ME8003 – but mostly will want to be used on a Cat 416/420 backhoe or Case CX75 mini-excavator. The rest of the hammers will predominately be used on various sized, full sized excavators ranging from Hitachi ZX120 through Komatsu PC200/220.

Rockwater also has three hammers in the “Heavy” category, and these hammers are for carriers in the 61,000 to 122,000 pound range. Their tool diameters range from 6.1 inches to 6.9 inches. These breaker models are the CB1200S, CB1300S, and CB1500S. With operating weights of 5,800 to over 8,000 pounds, these breakers are designed for use with carriers such as Central Oregon machines ranging from Kobelco SK270’s to Cat 345 or John Deere 450D.
